News / Czech Sokol celebrates 150 years

Founder Dr. Miroslav Tyrs developed classical ideal „kalos kai agathos“. Sokol movement develops these ideas for many generations in Europe and othercontinents. In the large auditorium of the Charles University in Prague, took the European prize Mrs. Hana Mouckova, Mayor Czech Sokol. This award is a recognition and acknowledgment for his contribution to Czech Sokol development of physical culture, art, morals, and especially the all-round development of human personality.
