On February 2, 2024, a great concert was held in the large hall of the Municipal Library in Prague to start the Chinese New Year 2024 (Year of the Dragon). The ensemble of the Music Academy of Zhejiang Province – the largest music school in the world – performed its original compositions with the historical musical instruments of millennia-old China. Another interesting feature was the arrangement of the Largo from Dvořák’s 9th Symphony in E minor From the New World. At the end of the concert, the members of the EUU presidium presented their main European prize for artistic and cultural activity - the Golden Europea. Mr. Feng Biao, the ambassador of the PRC in Prague, also received the thanks with the EUU’s honorable mention. The performance of the Zhejiang ensemble was appreciated by the audience with warm applause.

In the last days of May 2022, work on the memorial hall of the Acad. soch. Stefan Pelikan in Chanava, Slovakia. With the great support of the investor Mr. Stefan Juhasz, it was possible to install selected works of art (paintings, wood carvings, bronze busts and other sculptures) by Master Pelikán in the local cultural house and in its courtyard. The coffin with the deceased artist was covered with the national flag of the Slovak Republic and on the last trip he was accompanied by the honor guard of the 5th Elite Special Purpose Regiment of the Slovak Army. To the sound of honorary military salvos over the grave of Master Štefan Pelikán, mourning speeches were given by prominent members of the EUU, prof. Jozef Leikert and Mgr. Fedor Mikovic.
