News / Sportsmen of the Year and president of EUA were honored

The Bureau of the Czech Sokol, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic - Marcel Chládek awarded the best athletes of the year, the Olympians and president of EUA. The ceremony was a reminder of the 25th anniversary of the renewal of an international association Sokol. The ceremony was organized at the Michna Palace in Prague on 6 May 2015.  The president of EUA Petr Vasicek was honored for promoting physical education and sport. Public valuation for the representation of the sport also received the winners of the Olympic Games: Vera Ruzickova (gold medal,

gymnastics - OG London 1948), Pavel Ploc (silver and bronze medal, ski jumping - OG OG Sarajevo in 1984 and Calgary 1988) and Zdenek Ruzicka (gymnastics, 2 bronze medals - OG London 1948).
