The Lord God ended the earthly life of his servant and great Slovak artist of the academic sculptor and painter Štefan Pelikán. The author of the main European Prize for Artistic and Cultural Activity, Golden Europea, an honorary member of the European Union of Arts and vice-president of this international association, died on Friday 27 November 2020 at the age of 85 in town Žilina (SVK). With his modest life and, above all, his extensive artistic work, he left an indelible mark not only in Europe (FRA, CHE, HUN, ESP, POL, CZE, SVK, UKR, RUS), but also in Asia, Africa and South and North America.
