News / EUU member nominated for the Nobel Prize

The EUU Presidium nominated the Slovak poet and non-fiction writer, University Professor Jozef Leikert, for the award of the Nobel Prize for Literature for 2021. Prof. PhDr. Jozef Leikert, Ph.D., Litt.D. (1955) was born in Zlaté Moravce, Slovakia. He lives in Bratislava, where he works as a professor at Comenius University. He has received a number of domestic and international awards for his poetic and literary scientific work in the field of non-fiction. His works (a total of 65 titles) have already been published in 17 countries around the world.
