News / Commemorative plaque to Maestro Pelican

A hammered portrait of the late EUA Vice President Štefan Pelikán, made by the historical craftsmanship of Azerbaijan’s folk artists, decorates the facade of the cultural house in Chanava, South Slovakia. The author of this original memorial plaque is the long-time master’s disciple Kamil Kajo Papučík (Divina village, Slovakia), who took over the mentioned technique of processing copper plates from his teacher.
